Located at 41888 Motor Car Parkway, Temecula, CA, the Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) Temecula Valley Campus stands as a beacon of education and community engagement in Southwest Riverside County. This impressive 27-acre campus, equal in size to MSJC’s Menifee Valley Campus, is the first permanent higher education institution in Temecula, designed to meet the growing educational needs of the region.
State-of-the-Art Facilities and Academic Excellence
The Temecula Valley Campus is housed in two retrofitted five-story buildings, originally office spaces, transformed into a modern academic environment through a $60 million project funded by Measure AA, a local bond measure. This retrofit included a seismic upgrade using 445 tons of structural steel to ensure safety in Southern California’s earthquake-prone area.
Inside, students find 22 classrooms, six science labs, and five computer labs equipped with cutting-edge technology. The campus also features a welcoming lobby, a veterans resource center, a health center, a dining hall, a bookstore, and a career center. Collaborative spaces, study group rooms, conference rooms, and a boardroom are designed to foster teamwork and innovation.
A Campus Designed for Community and Collaboration
MSJC Temecula Valley Campus is more than just a place to study; it is a community hub. The campus encourages community groups and service organizations to use its meeting facilities, which accommodate both large and small gatherings with full audio/visual support and accessibility. Outdoor pathways invite students and visitors to walk, run, or explore the campus grounds, enhancing the overall experience.
The campus also hosts community events, such as the Annual Christmas Community Dinner organized by the Rotary Club, which serves over 1,000 community members, including seniors. These events highlight the campus’s role in fostering partnerships and supporting local residents.
Business Hours and Accessibility
The campus operates with convenient hours to accommodate students and community members. It is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday. These hours ensure ample time for academic activities, student support services, and community events.
